OUTSTANDING PLAYS AND TURNING POINTS:
LOWRY-Top 1: Tyler Dennis, Joe Enochson, and
Nick Cassinelli reach on walks. Joe Robinson hits a single
to left center to score Dennis and Enochson. Next three hitters
are struck out.
REED-Bottom 1: Reed responds as lead off Ramirez
hits a triple to right and Spicer hits into a fielders choice
to score him. A double by Okimura scores Spicer and a single
by Meiar score Okimura. Devries single to right and Massman
reaches on an error. A walk and a fielder’s choice bring
home the final runs of the inning.
LOWRY -Top 2: Meiar strikes out the side.
REED -Bottom 2: Down in order.
LOWRY -Top 3: Enochson leads off with a walk
and Cassinelli is HBP. Robinson drives in both with a double
to the gap. Roeder reaches on a walk and Janhunen gets a bunt
base hit. Nicholson follows with a soft-liner for a single.
And Dennis reaches on an error. Enochson walks for the second
time of the inning before the side is retired.
REED -Bottom 3: Devries leads off with an HBP
and Massman reaches again on an error. Jensen singles and
Delong singles and is moved up as the ball is mishandled in
the OF. Final three batters are retired to end inning.
LOWRY -Top 4: Roeder is walked and is moved
to third by a sac bunt from Janhunen but is stranded.
REED -Bottom 4: Four of the first five hitters
reach safely as Cassinelli tires. Enochson is brought in with
one out and gives up a double to clear the bases. He settles
down to strike out the next hitter ad gets the final out on
a comebacker.
LOWRY -Top 5: Dennis reaches on HBP but is stranded.
REED -Bottom 5: First two batters ground out
to second before Devries and Massman single. Jensen is walked
and two runs score on an error. Before the final out is recorded.

COACHING COMMENTS:
This was a game where Nick started out shaky but he
settled down to pitch three solid innings. He simply did not
get much help defensively. We continue to give the opposition
to many extra outs while not taking advantage of their mistakes
